Busy, Busy, Busy...

We've had a few busy days!

We revisited shapes and practiced their names like rhombus and trapezoid. 

On Thursday, we learned about 10 frames and how to use them to show the amount of the number and add numbers together. 

For science, we learned about cloud coverage and drew pictures of what cloudy days look like in our science journals. 

We are learning that sentences have words.  In this activity, we section words out on a word mat with one cube for each word. 

Part of practicing our handwriting is strengthening our fine motor skills by making different shapes with modeling clay. 

Previously, we talked about places in our community.  This week we talked about the different helpers and people in our community.
