Fantastic Friday!

What a fantastic Friday we've had!  

We started our language arts block with segmenting sentences and the kiddos did a fabulous job! We practiced writing circles from right to left and top to bottom on our vertical chart paper.  We finished our activity by making circles with modeling clay.  

For math, we talked about how there are 12 months in a year and our birthdays land in months throughout the year.  We counted the months on our birthday board and made cards with our names and birthdays on them.  Then we learned our nursery rhymes for the day and drew pictures about what happened in them.  

We finished up creations in our maker space.

For science, we talked about the differences between daytime and nighttime.  Then we sorted pictures of things that happen in daytime, nighttime, and both.
