Lots of Learning

We had a ton of fun today!  First, we started by talking about the first 100 days of school during our math block.  We talked a little bit about place value while gathering our concrete number collection of popsicle sticks.  To finish up math we measured our height to see how tall we are!

For language arts we distinguished different sounds and counted them from left to right on our sound mats.  We practiced drawing vertical lines to work on our handwriting skills.  We also talked about main characters in our nursery rhymes.  We were even able to act out "Jack be Nimble," and jumped over different objects in our class.  All of the kiddos were very quick!
