Exploring 2d and 3d Shapes

Our math lessons this week focused on reviewing 2d shapes and introducing 3d shapes.  The students went over shapes we've already learned this year and pointed out how they are flat with edges and corners.  I showed them several examples of 3d shapes including cones, spheres, rectangular prisms, and cylinders.  We compared them to 2d shapes, then named and shorted all of the shapes together.
