George Washington's Life

This week, we heard the legend of George Washington and the Cherry Tree.  He cut down his father's cherry tree but was honest and told his father about it.  We also heard the story of George Washington's Spectacular Spectacles.  Finally, we read a book called A Picture Book of George Washington by David A. Adler.  

After discussing all of the information we learned, the kindergarten students were tasked with picking one event in George Washington's life and drawing a picture about it.
