Drawing Our Classroom

After visiting the Maya Shmoel Innovation Lab and creating a map of our room using building materials, we extended the lesson by creating maps on paper.  We discussed all of the features in our classroom, the bathroom, cubbies, corners of the centers, our carpet, etc.  We used pencils, paper, and rulers to draw maps of the classroom focusing on the important areas first and adding smaller details last.
