Introducing Base 10 Blocks

    In math, we introduced base 10 blocks.  We talked about what they represented, how they showed place, value, and that can make numbers using them.  We used the base 10 blocks to skip count to 100.  Then the students were given numbers to build using the blocks.  Finally, they were able to explore and building using the blocks for free play.
