Learning about Patterns

Math:

In math, we've been talking about patterns.  The children shared everything they knew about repeating patterns and we talked about different ways things can be patterns.  They were then introduced to a new pattern called a growing pattern.  The students were given math manipulatives and tasked with creating a repeating pattern and a growing pattern in groups.
